Radiation Protection Systems, Inc. in Groton, Connecticut is pleased to welcome Tony Papso as our new Southeast Account Manager.  For the 30 years prior to that position, Tony’s career has been focused in the Power Generation industry in a number of roles. He started his career in commercial Nuclear Power with Westinghouse Electric where he was a Project Manager and later Product Line manager for reactor modifications and upgrades on Westinghouse Pressurized Water Reactors. From there he moved into a Sales role with Westinghouse providing products and services to Nuclear, Gas Turbine plants as well as Transmission and Distribution.

Since 1998, Tony has held various Senior management roles in industrial service companies servicing
the Power industry. They include:
  -  Heat Treat and Non Destructive testing – Cooperheat-MQS
  -  Emissions Controls / SCRs / Nuclear I&C – Siemens Westinghouse
  -  Specialty Welding – AZZ | WSI

Tony has a B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering degree from Purdue University and served for 6 years in the U.S. Navy. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and having grown up in Pittsburgh, he remains a loyal and avid Steelers and Penguins fan. He resides with his wife, Laura, in Cumming, Georgia, just north of Atlanta.
